Meeting You Where You Are

I come to this work knowing first-hand the constant race to find the right approaches and strategies, always hoping to catch a break, wishing that your student could experience school and the world at large more gently. I spent years advocating before I became a professional educational consultant.

That experience is what drew me to work with students who think or learn differently. I have pursued focused professional development to formalize what I know, including dedicated coursework, ongoing training, and independent study. That learning never stops.

Working with students of all learning profiles means understanding their strengths, challenges, and aspirations, and focusing on pathways and academic settings where they can genuinely thrive. I naturally weave executive function skills into our sessions as scaffolding, not as a separate service. We will work through the application steps together, but we will also pay special attention to making the most of the high school years, assessing whether a gap year or transitional program should be considered, and talking through what disability and support services are available at the schools you are considering.

I support neurotypical as well as neurodivergent students, navigating executive functioning challenges, learning disabilities, twice-exceptionality, autism, and ADHD. Every student deserves to find a place where they belong. If you would like to discuss what this could look like for your student, please do get in touch.
